Canopy Tour in Costa Rica

When you visit Costa Rica, you have to try their longest canopy zip line you can zip through nature. You have to fly through a cable from mountain to mountain. The distance is between 2.5 miles of linear cable. You can really feel your adrenaline while you zip in 40 miles per hour, 2,500 feet long in each cable, 524 feet from the ground. Each tour has it's own observation deck where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the active 'Arenal Volcano' and the tree tops. When we were there the volcano is active and we saw the lava at night from our hotel room.

We had a little bit of training before the started with the real tour. They have a few cable line for them to show you how to zip from one end to another. You don't want to stop half way of the cable because if you do, you're on your own. You have to manually drag yourself to the other end of the cable . No one can really help you, so you have to pay attention during the training. They will teach you how to properly position yourself in order for you to zip straight to the end of the cable. They will also tell you how to slow down when you're almost at the end of the cable and another tour guide will hold you in order for you to have a full stop.

This is one of our unique experience while we were in Costa Rica. If you have fear of heights and you want to try the canopy tour, you better hold your breath and zip from one cable to the other and have fun!

Coronado Island Visit

Coronado Bridge connects the Coronado Island to San Diego. This bridge is 11, 288-ft long has 4.67 percent grade and 80-degree curve towards the city of San Diego. Its span reaches a maximum height of 200-feet. This allow the U.S. Navy ships to pass underneath in order to operate to the nearby Naval Station in San Diego.

Some random picture I took which I though the architecture is interesting. This is the only one standing in the middle of she shopping and park area.

Shopping and parks to hang around nearby the beach with a city view.

City of San Diego, CA

The view of San Diego when we were driving on the way to Coronado Island. California is my new home city now. I recently moved here a few months ago.

I thought I have to strike a pose while we were walking around the bay and check out their small shops while waiting for Peohe's Restaurant to open at 5pm.

You can really see a panoramic view of the city across the island. And it is pretty.

Oahu, HI

November of 2003 my husband and I spent our 2-week vacation in the Island of Hawai-i. We spent a few days in Oahu, flew to Big Island and then went back to Oahu. We stayed at the Pacific Beach Hotel. The location is easy access to the beach, we got a good deal with our room and it was facing the beach area. Oahu is a very nice vacation spot for everyone and it has it's own shopping center with so many tourist everywhere. You can shop with your favorite brands in a small island.
A few pictures I took while we were there.

Downtown Oahu.
