Another 4th of July celebration here in America. We spent our 4th of July in Lone Pine, CA because my

hubby(Michael) and MJ's husband(Steve) are going for a hike to Mt. Whitney.Hubby and I arrived in Lone Pine a day before 4th of July. We spent our time walking around and check out the small shops selling souvenirs. I asked one of the shop owner where I bought my Mt. Whitney magnet if they have 4th of July parade tomorrow.
Unfortunately they don't have 4th of July parade. The father also told us that their neighboring town (Independence) do have a parade on 4th of July. It w

as good to know at least they have something going on during 4th of July. This may not me a big city like ev

ent but its fun to experience and have fun with other people celebrating 4th of July.Their parade is small and interesting, they have interesting.
On the left is a very old volkswagen car own by one of the resident of Independence, CA. We all had fun watching their parade. After the event we drove back to Lone Pine and also drove to the base of Mt. Whitney and check out the ground and take some pictures.
